These Terms & Conditions of Sale apply to orders placed through the BuildFix website.
Please read these Terms before placing an order. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms.
If you are purchasing wholly or mainly for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft or profession, you are purchasing as a business customer. Otherwise, you are purchasing as a consumer.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Products and Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, pack quantities, images and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
Product images are provided to help identify and illustrate the products. Minor differences in appearance, packaging or presentation may occur where they do not materially affect the product specification.
Please review the product description and technical information before placing your order.
All products are subject to availability.
Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on the BuildFix website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the applicable rate.
Standard UK delivery is included in the product price unless otherwise clearly stated at checkout.
The total amount payable will be shown before you place your order.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. Your payment method may be authorised or charged as part of the ordering process.
Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the products in your order.
After your order is placed, you will receive an electronic confirmation containing details of your order.
A contract for the sale of the products is formed when we accept your order.
We may be unable to accept an order, for example, if a product is unavailable, there is an error in the price or product information, payment cannot be authorised, or we cannot deliver to the delivery address provided.
If we cannot accept an order after payment has been taken, any amount paid for the affected order will be refunded.
Delivery
We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
BuildFix orders are delivered using a next working day courier service where available. Orders are normally expected to arrive within 1–2 business days after dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weekends, public holidays, courier delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Consumer Cancellation and Returns
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you generally have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.
After notifying us of your decision to cancel, you must return the goods within a further 14 days.
Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them to us.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Products supplied to consumers must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose as required by applicable law.
If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact BuildFix with your order number and details of the issue.
We may ask for photographs or other reasonable information to help us assess the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that you have under applicable consumer law.
Business Customers
If you purchase wholly or mainly for business purposes, the statutory consumer cancellation rights described in these Terms do not apply to your purchase.
Business customers should contact BuildFix regarding return requests. Any agreed return will be subject to the terms applicable to the relevant order.
Nothing in this section excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful or unreasonable to do so.
Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.
If you are a consumer, we are not responsible for business losses arising from your use of products purchased wholly or mainly for personal purposes.
Different rules may apply to losses arising from purchases made by business customers, subject to applicable law.
Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If such circumstances materially affect your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and, where appropriate, contact you regarding the order.
Your statutory rights are not affected.

We use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including for processing orders, taking payment, arranging delivery and communicating with customers about their orders.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, products or applicable law.
The Terms that apply to your order will be those in effect when you place the order, unless a change is required by law.
Governing Law
If you are a consumer, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of any mandatory protections or rights available to you under applicable law.
If you are a business customer, these Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
